Merge Kitchen

Merge Kitchen is an early, playable prototype of a merge-and-cook game. Combine ingredients on the board, cook dishes at your stations, and serve the regulars who drop by your kitchen.

How to play Drag matching ingredients together to merge them into better ones. Drop ingredients onto a station and tap Cook when they match what a customer wants, then tap Deliver on their order. Tap any item to see its merge chain. This build runs in "rush" mode: generators fill the board on their own, and the board filling up ends the level, so keep merging and serving.

How it's being made This prototype is a solo project built with AI assistance. The code was written together with Claude, Anthropic's AI model, working from my design and direction, and the placeholder art, characters and icons were generated with generative AI tools. It has been a great way to experiment with new tools and learn what they are good for, and to get a playable idea in front of people quickly.

The full game will be made with 100% human-made assets, on the foundation of the code built here. Funding for that version isn't open yet. When it is, we'll link to the pitch materials here.
